In what many has seen as an attempt to justify the betrayal of former
President Goodluck Jonthan by his own party men, especially those of
northern extraction, the Acting Board of Trustees Chairman of the
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Bello Haliru Mohammed, yesterday
said the violation of the zoning principle by vested interests destroyed
the party.
